Someone has been knocking on doors late at night. Once tracks
were found in the snow ending at the apartments but didn’t lead
to anyone. Other than that, things have been pretty quiet.
Ward Parkway Homes:
Although three of the burglaries were in his area, things have
been quiet.

has been given to the situation.
Waldo Roadrunners:
Lt. Garcia shared the incident of an older man being kidnapped
and scammed by two very well dressed black males who took the
victim to a bank and made him withdraw $9,000 and then dropped
him at the Walgreens in Waldo. Police were notified and
video tapes are being reviewed.
SRO Officers:
Gave a brief update on Southwest High School.
Skipping/Truancy are on the rise due to spring fever. Fire
incidents appear to be mainly due to the younger students (7th

next school year, the current principal has found another job
but will stay through the rest of the school year.
Other issues:
St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Brookside is March 12th
